Usual Wetherspoons with usual Wetherspoons facilities etc. However lovely airy turn of the century building with outside smoking area.

This is a very nice Spoons outlet in one of the many classical venues. Usual well balanced drinks offering and always a few good ales on draught. I know what I like and I like what I know so this place works well for me. I have brought the children up from England to Millport for almost every holiday as they've grown up and this has been a favourite watering hole particularly when I've taken them either to the Waterfront for swimming or to watch the Jags play at Cappielow! I always liked the separate family area and the two alcoholic drinks limit for parents with children. Thank you for the safe environment and first class customer service. Aye. Fraser.

A place is just all Right. Not enough waiters to serve, tables stay dirty when customers leave, bathrooms are not very clean. You have to wait to be served. A lot of drunk locals at this pub, experience Scottish pub atmosphere here for yourself. Will definitely recommend having a chicken vandaloo curry here- was outstanding. Reasonable pricing for a dinner.

Ordered loaded fries, no sour cream. My world had shattered like so many pieces of a fractured crystal. A universe crumbling in on itself as if entropy had taken an accelerated hold. But just as I began the eternal fall into a pit of crushing dispair, a light appeared. It's name was Duncan. He took hold of my broken meal and reforged it like a god beholden to his worshippers. To my stunned eyes he asked "everything alright?"I told him of my plight, and he tore off towards the kitchen like a charging beast of pure detemination. Moments later he returned with sad news...There was no sour cream. I was crestfallen. But this beautiful creature was not ready to let me go, he pondered upon other sauces I could partake instead, and once more tore off to fetch our agreement. He returned with spicy chipotle. My hero. Duncan.

Love going in here for a breakfast, the foods good, don't wait long for it. The pints are lovely & are very reasonably priced. Can't say enough good things about this place. Would recommend it for food & drinks.
