No refurbishments for the 20 or so houses in Kilmacolm only rent increases and surveys. Have not even the decency to answer a letter. Our houses were supposed to get new roofs and they were to get the cladding done. That was 3 years ago after Slaemuir was refurbished. Nothing. Now another rent increase. Nothing done to houses here for at least 8years. The houses are over 50 years old. They are building houses wherever but Kilmacolm is forgotten about. Terrible landlords.

too many bad 1s first dont say you need repairs they wil blame everyone barr themselfs 2 face rats that lie too your face steal money from you yes STEAL as there is not a under 1 star i will leave it blank but them love them all cant wait to see them going red as a lower being has better morals than them and they know hate but they will get over it

I had the misfortune of having to deal with them. Had a issue I needed to involve them due to them being my factor. Whenever I called the first people I spoke to where always polite and helpful but whenever I got passed on it went south. Instead of providing a service I felt the entire process was about them not incurring costs and, then I had the sheer delight (please get my sarcasm) of speaking to Gary mcmenemey. When he took over the call he was immediately combative and had a very clear smugness in his voice. I think he tries to use big words to make him come across smarter than he is because when you actually listen to what he says there is absolutely no substance to it what so ever. He is like a politician, constantly worming his way from soundbite to soundbite and not being helpful in anyway. After several weeks my issue was resolved but I feel this was due to my persistence on the matter and if I was a vulnerable person I would have been taken advantage of

River Clyde Homes have just spent a week removing hedges & trees from behind privately owned houses. Not only has this had an obvious unwelcome visible effect to our homes & gardens but it is also not very environmentally aware. The once secluded view from my garden is now of houses and a car park! Are we not supposed to be consulted when companies are to make devastating changes to resident's immediate neighbourhoods. UPDATE: Now some 2 months later and after complaining about the mess they left behind I've had to go and clear it up myself. Don't see any point in contacting them again as a 5/6 man team couldn't do the job that they have left a 50+ year old man with cancer to do. River Clyde Homes are a disgrace.

So called social landlord. Terrible customer service. Poor quality repairs. Substandard housing. Lies to tenants regarding refurbishment and regeneration projects. Allows contractors to damage tenants property. Do not follow basic health and safety. SLUM LANDLORD.
